IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES
The cold plunge is a chilled tub- usually around 45 degrees – that you lower yourself into. Ours are single-person, so you’re not breathing through it across from a stranger.
We include it because the cold is direct. It cuts through autopilot and puts you straight in contact with your body; there’s no thinking your way around it. Where the sauna is communal and slow, this is solitary and immediate.
It isn’t about comfort. It’s about noticing how you respond when something is hard — and choosing to stay a beat longer than you want to. People come for different reasons. We encourage you to find your own.
what cold plunge actually offers, in plain terms, and what people come back for.
This isn’t relaxing, and it isn’t a competition or a test of toughness. It isn’t a cure-all or a guaranteed health intervention. It isn’t always enjoyable. And it isn’t for everyone. Cold exposure carries real medical risk for some people — including cardiovascular conditions, certain arrhythmias, uncontrolled high blood pressure, Raynaud’s, and pregnancy, among others. Please talk with your physician before trying it. We can’t clear you medically; that conversation belongs with your doctor.
