Breanna Freeborn, MA LPCC
Chief Clinical Officer
With 15 years of experience across the spectrum of mental health and variations in consciousness – from crisis response in homes and offices, to psychedelic therapy and clinical leadership – Bre has walked with clinicians and clients through their most extreme and human moments. Through the breadth of her experiences, she questions what “mental health” even means – how it's fractured from what should be whole, how it’s practiced superficially or myopically, and how it doesn’t have to be this way.
As CCO at Elsewhere, she brings this critical lens and lived insight into designing and applying systems that are intentional and integrative. She leads providers through professional growth and clinical complexity, facilitating training and consultation in a connected way that helps people feel both seen and supported where it truly matters to them.
As former Clinic Director of a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) clinic, Bre refined systems and drove operational innovation for psychedelic care. Her clinical work spans psychedelic-assisted and traditional therapy, and has been characterized by psychological intensity with a focus on complex trauma and existential crises, especially among first responders. These raw states of consciousness (whether induced by stress, substance, or a profound life change) can fundamentally alter a person’s course; Bre’s understanding of this and ability to be present through it allows her to lead with clarity, fortitude, and heart, remaining steady even during the toughest times.
Bre is relentlessly committed to enacting values – not just preaching them – and inspiring others to rise to their potential. She imagines a culture where people share a broader lens of wellness, vitality is central, and we honor the time we have by living it fully.
